is the second installment in the "Ride with Shawn" series. In Ocean Rip, instead of riding the backwaters of South Carolina, Shawn will guide you up the Intercoastal Waterway and into the ever-changing waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Here you’ll ride surf, tucking in and out of endless waves and ride them alongside the coastline. As if this wasn’t exciting enough, you’ll also get the unique opportunity to get some serious air! In Ocean Rip, you master the waters and jump waves! Experienced riders really get to show off their stuff and ride like never before. This is a real adrenaline rush!
You MUST have SEVERAL YEARS prior watercraft experience. Must be age 16 or older. You can rent one of our Yamaha VXR 1812cc watercraft or bring your own!
What To Bring: If you have your own life jacket, feel free to bring it. If not, we will provide one for you. All jackets must be coast guard approved. We recommend that you consider bringing any of the following: Wet Suit, Protective Eyewear/ Sunglasses, Crokies, Gloves, Riding Shoes, Hats and Sunscreen. A variety of gear such as jackets, hat, sunscreen, shirts & sunglasses are available for purchase. Go-Pro HD videocameras are available to rent and to document your experience. Water, juice, soda and snacks are available.
